Door switches are on the door jams, you'll see a rubberized boot lookin thing. Not sure where the ones for the trunk are. Hood ones should be pretty easy to find. I'm assuming it's either in the front or along the outside frame.javampato wrote:Thanks for responding. The warning lights do not come on while driving. Do you think I should clean the contact switches? If you do any idea where they are and how to get to them.
Seems aftermarket. Most manufacturers don't do it (anymore).Pimperish1 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 5:14 pmDoes it have a factory shock sensor installed? Mine does and it's pretty sensitive. Loud exhausts and even jet engines from the airport 5-10 miles away will trip it at times.

They may have done away with it (like the four wheel steering) but it was definitely a box I checked on the PO. I've never been able to find documentation on it and dealer seems clueless (not a surprise for me anymore) but it was listed and added as a factory option when I bought her. Makes her a real temperamental B*tch and somewhat of a hypocrite. She roars pretty loudly on satartup herself. lol.EdBwoy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 8:00 pmSeems aftermarket. Javampato, pretty curious tho. Did this ever end for you? It would drive me nuts too.
Car just did it again. I'm pissed. I ended up removing the alarm horn/de-icer relay from the engine bay (drive side near intake).Ilya wrote: ↑Tue Jun 05, 2018 4:37 amMy car just started doing this just now...woke my a** up at 7:33am (I work from home so not due up for another 1.5hrs lol). I went outside to investigate and by the time I was ready to get into bed again, it did it again 10 minutes later.
What exactly was replaced under warranty?
Also a 2011 and have had it for 4 years without it ever doing something like this.
