Anyone else have bad luck with a vac cap popping off of the nipple under the tb? I've had 3 so far pop off. I think it's the cheap vinyl/plastic caps I bought from Auto Zone. Once they heat up, they pop off, I'm assuming under boost. Where can I find decent rubber caps?Anyway, I decided to hook a vac line up to the nipple, with a tee, and tapped it into the bov vac line that connects to the side of the intake mani. Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this? Everything seems fine.....I just had to lower the idle back down as it was around 1200 rpms after I hooked it up this way.

I had to cap mine, and I was not going to trust those crappy things from auto zone. I got a piece of rubber tubing that was a bit too small, heated it pu, and crammed it on there. Afterwards I put a zip tie around it and snugged it up really well, then I stuffed the shank of a little bolt down in the other end, and zip tied that too. 400 miles, full boost every time I drive it, no problems.

rubber turbing with a bolt crammed in it ftw. Not the neatest but works the best!

Thats what I was thinking.........it actually maintains idle better this way, it seems like.......before when I would let off the gas, the idle would dip down to like 500rpms, then bounce back up to normal idle......now when I let off, it doesn't do that
