hey im kinda new here i guess.. before i would kinda just creep around but figure now that i might be more active in here i would introduce myself since my local forum is more for screwing around and talking about drifting not CA's. So a lil background my name is JR i've owned 2 s13 coupes (both pignose 1st one was two-tone and current is white) and an AE86, and had two CA's the first one i got and took apart and started getting everything ready for building up but was forced to scrap the project and sale when i quit my job and had no money for rent. Recently got my 2nd CA and decided to be lazy and just get it in the car so no rebuild and and althrough it has its problems that i'm working on fixing it is running and i love it. And although i do wish to go back and possible rebuild it in time for now i'm leaving it alone. I'll try to get some pics up and mods not too much stock everything except for SR t25, nismo fpr, walbro fuel pump, and blitz bov. Glad to be apart of nico and honestly thisCA area should just be its own site.. haha.

and hes some pics of the old CA well the pile i had in my roomand the block

hope to get to know some people on here

Congrats! Hope everything goes well. If you get a minute, check out my build-up!

This has got to be one of the most active CA boards around, which is good for us true CA enthusiats. Seems like the majority of the guys/girls on here are quite mature and we dont have too many problems with noobs or ignorant people wanting their info spoon fed. Once in a while we'll have to re-direct someone to the stickies or the search button but for the most part were all pretty willing to help each other and learn from each other.

yeah i mean i've been around for a year now lurking and what not.. just did a lot of research and reading on here before i really decided to start posting so i would have some what of an idea what im talking about and not just seeming like an idiot.. although as im sure some other people on here i've done my sure of engine work with honda's and what not since i own a type R, but a bit new with the turbo, coilpacks and nissan thing. But i've tore one down before and i think that is really one of the best ways to learn and i have read over the FSM for the CA.

But yeah i've checked out your build and i really wish i could find the time and money to really break it down and do like you, but maybe sometime in the future.. but goodluck should be nice when you get it all up and running the first start is always pretty sweet on your first CA.. haha.

haha yeah i guess so. and the engine has been alright few troubles here and there at first, but i got most worked out.. still having cold start problems and not always idling how i would like, but i guess that not so uncommon.

and yeah at first i wasnt too sure how the valve cover would look that color but i think it turned out not to bad, and idk about doing the coilovers haha might be a lil too much gold bling.
