cant select my state in 05 Qx56 navi system..reads no data stuck on Cali

I have a 05 QX56 and im having a problem changing the state on my navi system. When I try to change the state it reads NO DATA. I took out the 6.4 map data dvd and put it back in and still nothing. Can some one help? Do I have to upgrade to new map or what?

I am having the exact same issue! I called technical support and they told me I had to go buy the upgrade. I thought they were trying to sell me a product and not help me out.

Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry its been so long since Ive been up here but I had to get an updated navi dvd...luckily it was under warranty from CARMAX....NO CHARGE!!!

that is good, also, when you get the new DVD, don't you have to "flash" the system with another disc first?
