hey guys, thanks for the information concening starting and about the turbo. Before I can do anything about the turbo and bolt one on, I have another issue.... I cant seem to get it to run right. Theres no way that this car is SO SLOW!~ It takes like 15 secs just to get to 60, maybe longer... I was wondering if anyone knows a good and TRUSTWORTHY mechanic.... it seems I cant do this on my own anymore. I live in anaheim and even if someone has time on there hands and maybe a little more mechanical kno how that can help me as well. Thanks again guys and If someone can help me out that would be great@!~ Oh and if someone knows where I can smog it also that would be VERY APPRICATIVE.... Im not so sure it will pass normally so if someone has any contacts or anything like that... that can .. help me out that would be great too. Im hoping to fix my car asap.... I really would like to start driving it soon!@!!~~ Thanks guys and hope to hear from you!

you might want to look up your local chapter of the z car club (zcca.org) and find out who in your area the local club uses, if you plan on doing the turbo swap you might be able to avoid spending amy money on the current problem, or if you can provide more info we can try to help you solve the problem yourself, the L6 is a great motor and not prone to failure

thanks, ill look them up now, and i wasnt planning to swapping the engine just getting a bolt-on kit together. Unless thats not recommended? But, yea, If you floor it it just doesnt go fast... VERY SLUGGISH@!~ .... regretfully its hard to paint a picture, but Im hoping if someone in anaheim can look at it, might beable to figure it out. I dont feel like going to a dealership and getting the shaft!.

thanks, again!~

There are two places up near me, they're a bit of a drive from the OC.

One is Z World, in Redondo Beach. He's a good guy, ive talked to him a few times. Lots of neet cars on his lot.

The other is some place in gardena... ill get the name of it from my friend.

the only bolts on kits I'm aware of are out of production, there still may be some available from the smaller suppliers but the kit will cost you more than getting a complete donor, I just picked up another donor for $300, the motor is locked but all the turbo parts seem to be in order, I think jim cook still has a kit but it's not cheap
