cant remove wheel locks help

I have the round wheel locks that take a 9 point star key to take them off and the key broke what should i do no one has the key and the locks where on there when i got the car

what is that socket called and will that take off the round ones because mine are not hex

Yep, thats it. You just bang it over the wheel lock and turn it with a rachet or lug wrench.

Craftsman has a set, but they're like $40. PepBoys has a set for $20. I used them about 2 months ago one my eclipse, and they worked great. They have a thread pattern, vice the "bolt-out" pattern. You'll need like a 2 or 3 pound sledge hammer and a 18"-24" breaker bar with 1/2" drive to turn them (if you don't have an impact. Tap them on with the hammer, give them a couple truns, re-tap turn again. They didn't really scar up my locks either, but I still tossed them.
