I found my coolant leak and it is in the hoses behind the engine. The problem is that the engine is on the Chasis already. Is there any way to get to them without having to remove the engine???

Is there a way I can check my heater core's operation.

thanks for any help. Here's a pic illustrating the hose.

your picture didnt work for me, but anyways, you could just take it off the mounts and slide it far enough forward to work on it. i cant really see another way of doing it. I just got done disconnecting the lines on my KA and that was a pain in the *** with the motor in place. Putting em on is harder....

After the second engine and replacing hoses more than once I can honestly say yes you can get to it if you try hard enough with the enging in. You will spend more time getting the engine loose from the mounts and moving foward and in a matter of time the hoses could have already been done. Here is alittle clue to slide hoses back on easier. Use a little vasiline or something like that. Not to much, you dont want it in your water system.
