cant open driver door help

today i replaced all the locks on one of my cars, 90 240sx coupe. ignition, passenger door, and trunk are all set. everything went fine with the drivers side, hooked all the lock arms back up, then when i shut the mother f***er it wont open. this s***s starting to piss me off 3 of us were sitting ther f***ing with and and cant get it. what am i missing, power locks by the way, thanks

Untwist A Wire Hanger.Squeeze Thru Window And Rubber.Unlock With Hook Part.

I did that when I locked my keys inside the car in front of my favorite taco shop.

Took me a few tries but it worked.

thanks for the response guys. i didnt lock my self outside of the car. thats not the problem the problem is i cant get the drivers side door to unlatch and open, the locking mechanism has something screwed up. is there some trick to do with the latch to open it?

was everything hooked up correctly? take off both door panels and be sure that the right rods are going to the right places.

yea i was hopin i wouldn have to go pullin another panel off, every time i do i seem to break one of those plastic door panel clips lol. luckily i have the luxury of having 3 of these mofos so ill get back to work

did you try the fsm for illustrations? i haven't seen the inside of an s13 door in years.

I Had To Get In Thru The Trunk For A Whole Week.

Yea You Prob Popped One Of The Rods Out.Dunno If The S14 And S13 Door Panels Match.

yea man i fixed it one of the latches poped out of where the rod meets the inside handle. that rod moved the door latch, thanks for the help
