well anyways im new here and i was thinking about geting a 91 240sx wit 200k miles for 2k evry thing is in good condition except the paint job motor runs well and intirior is clean there are little things that are rong like the brake light indicator on the gauges are always on and no AC plus 200k miles

so i was thinking should i get it or no ?

all i can say is don't jump into things too quick if the brake lights always on id check the brake fluid level, brake lines, and calipers. 2k for 200k idk bought my 89 for $700 has 116k so keep looking. But from the pics the car looks in decent shape.

around were i live theres very few 240s ive been surching for 3 months and cant find any

but yeah ill check the brake fluid and all that when i get the chance to look at the car agian sometime next week i hope

LOL, $2000? thats horrible. Keep looking, i picked up my first hatch with 152k on it, AGX's, megan exhaust, front, rear and c pillar strut bars, gay aftermarket steering wheel, pioneer speakers w/ a sony deck. I think thats about it but it cost me $700.

God i miss that car, it had the strongest single slammer i've ever seen.

haha yeh a better deal will always come by I paid 900 for my 91 hatch and it only had 80,000 miles never been wrecked, just s***ty paint.

Yeah and negotiate with the owner too, remember your the one with the cash if he really wants the cash he'll negotiate and point out the problems you see and mention its gonna cost to fix it and just be confident about it too

Just remind him that its a 18 year old car and it has ALOT of miles on it. Make sure to check for rust, good luck.

if you check it out and that ALL that wrong with it, no rust, runs good and well maintained, walk up with the ABSOLUTE most your willing to pay, IN CASH, then offer him like $1000 show only that cash, if he doesnt bite up it a little while pointing out things that need to be fixed or repaired, such as tire are old/worn, brakes need to be done, oil leaks, dings/dents, little stuff, and keep adding it up untill he gives in, or you run out of cash, if you cant make a deal....WALK AWAY, dont tell him anything, just say thanks for your time and walk away, he'll bite, good luck

I would keep looking. You can find a better deal IMO. 240s come and go, you'll find one that will have less annoying things about it.
