Cant Keep my stock 1990 240sx running!!

Did yo ucheck all the fuses? Including the 75 amp alt. fuse?

what exactly is it doing when you go to start it ?

nothing. . i can only turn it on if i jump it but as soon as i remove the cables from the battery it just dies but i have a brand new battery and alt

it sounds like your having a problem with a fuse, did you check them to see if ones blown? check the two main fuse boxes one is under the hood on the intake side and the other, in the cab where the kick panel is on the driver side floor.
