i have replaced my KA24 with one thats not blown up and all the factory harness is in place and connected so im not sure what the issue is but when i crank it over it puffs smoke out of the mpi throttle body and when it backfires it shoots smoke out of the throttle body. Sounds like timing to me. I would think about removing your phone # from that post though.
