cant get my lights to go down

ok so i got my 89 240 with out the light switch (the button one) so i got some from the junk yard. they do work. i got the car witht he lights up and the switch on the collom turns the lights on. (yes i know no sh it). i got the lights to go down once but when they went back up i couldnt get them to go back down. the brown wire is not cut so its not that.. i dont get it any ideas.??!!

On mine, the lights will not go down (although they do turn off) if my brakes are pressed. This includes if the brake light switch is broken, so the brake lights are stuck on, the lights won't go down. Maybe check into that? Not sure if this is universal to all 240SXs since mine does have some quirks under the dash (radio stays on with keys out if lights are on hehe).

lol for sure will have to see that cuz my brake light switch is kinda f ked up if i dont manualy push the button they wont turn off 0_o
