My 2008 infiniti m35s doesnt work , i was driving on the freeway one day with ac on and i stepped on the gas and it just started blowing warm air after so im not sure wtf happened when it was working perfect ?! so now when i turn it on it doesnt engage or it dont even make the clicking sound, i popped the hood open and the compressor aint spinning but throws hot air , checked the freon and it goes to the red mark on the gauge is there anything else to check? fuse? relay?

Welcome to the forum.

What do you mean the compressor ain't spinning? The belt is just going around it cause the other pulleys are pulling it? If that's the case, then that's the problem.

So you've already figured out why it's providing ambient air - the compressor clutch isn't engaging.

If you've already checked the system for refrigerant pressure, I am thinking the pressure switch at the condenser could be goofy.
That, or the clutch electromagnet did indeed suddenly go out on you.

Check the FSM section on HVAC as it should have some recommended troubleshooting steps.
I think it also shows you exactly how to test the clutch electromagnet, but it might be as simple as giving 12 volts to that black wire leading to the compressor to see if the clutch engages/clicks on.

EDIT:
I understand the pulley is spinning like it should, but is that plate in front of the pulley spinning as well or is it stationary?

You need to get a test light or multimeter and test the electromagnet connector for 12 volts when you turn the AC on. If you have 12 volts at that connector when the AC button is on and the clutch isn't engaging then the electromagnetic coil went bad. You can get them for $95 on ebay. I wrote a HOW-TO for replacing it. It is in the FAQ section.
If you don't have 12 volts at the cool, you could be low on freon (leak) which would likely be a compressor replacement, or you have a pressure cycling switch issue, or possible something as simple as a blown fuse. If you don't have at least some experience working on cars, you will need to take it in.
What was the dealer's diagnosis? I know they told you it needed a new compressor but did they ask why?
I am going to be replacing my compressor and drier this week. If you have any questions about that procedure, I can fill you in.

I haven't traced down which fuse is used for the coil of the AC clutch. Just check them all or dig through the manual in the FAQ section.

I traced this to fuse #79. Just an update. It is in the fusebox behind the battery. You don't have to remove the battery to get to it, just the panels in top including the one that goes under the passenger windshield wiper.
