Cant get cruise on my sr.. what am i missing?

Ok my cruise control was working properly before my srswap. i swapped over my throttle body onto the sr engine and hooked up my cruise cable. I made sure the vacuum line for cruise was hooked up. when i engage cruise with the button on the dash it lights up green. but when i pick my speed and press resume accell on the steering wheel the little light in the gauge cluster doesnt light up and cruise doesnt engage. what am i missing that needs to be hooked up or added? i know some people here have cruise. please help! thanks

what year car is it and did it start life as an auto or a manual?

ok i followed the srswap guide on heavythrottle for my redtop. it runs fine, no problems. i put the ka throttle body on and hooked up the cruise cable. i swapped over my sensors from my ka transmission to the sr. what should i be looking at to make my cruise work? it worked before the swap. any ideas?

double check all your grounds for the ASCD (auto speed control device)

EDIT: also it would be highly beneficial to those who are trying to help troubleshoot this if we knew what year car this is.
