Well it has been a long and frustrating day at work. We are only allowed to use the lifts at work now on wednesdays which makes it hard to fix my car. I tried to install a ssautochrome header and greddy turbo outlet tonight and had to leave my car at work because I couldnt finish it. It was a royal pain in the *** getting the oil and coolant lines off and the manifold out. It took forever to get the turbo out and now I cant get the manifold back in. The manifold is wedged between the brake booster and the cast part where one of the radiator hoses connects. I almost got it in with a four foot pry bar but I had to leave. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this thing in? I know there are some people around here with this manifold.

I'll suggest something you probably won't like... take off the cast radiator pipe. I know it sucks but its the best I could do. Unless you'd like to wait a week and get it on a lift. From below it is quite easy.

Why dont you losen your motor mount , and then use a crowbar to shift the engin over a lil while u or someone else wiggle that bad boy on. Or u can just wait to use a lift. :D

Well I got the manifold on. I am a moron. When I put the new turbo on the manifold I forgot to take off one of the intake pipes that I had to take off the old turbo. It took a while to find this as the problem because that wasnt hitting anything. I finally decided to try another way of getting the manifold in and thought it might be easier with that piece off. As soon as I thought about that I knew that was the problem.

However, I forgot one of the copper gaskets on one of the banjo fittings and now I have a coolant leak. Also, when I took the manifold off one of the nuts took out one stud and when I tried to put it back it it doesnt look like it went in all the way so I also have an exhaust leak. So close to finishing tonight. So close. Putting in 13 hour days at work for the last two days is killing me.
