Cant find other end of dash plug, found it looking for speedom issu plz help

My speedometer wasnt working, 93 240sx, digital w/ HUD. I dont care if the hud doesnt work but i need the speedom to work to pass inspection. So, I checked all fuses and the sensor, they look good. The weird thing is the rest of the dash instruments work and light up when lights r on, so this lead me to believe something is not plugged in, bc i should atleast get 0 mph im thinking? Car was previously a track only car and the owner did some crazy stuff, anyways i read these threads on how to get into the dash:

and I have it apart now and I find the following things:

1. A hidden spare key fell out from under the wheel... lol

2. I found 2 plugs that are not plugged into anything, but I cant find anything you should plug into???

The white plug looks like what on the back of my cluster, im guessing thats what needs to get plugged in, somewhere near where my pedals are (thats where the other end seems to b?, im praying he didnt just cut the other half off! I dont kno what the deal is with that black plug either? The back of the cluster looks ok, all plugs r in it? is it possible that they might have to go to the HUD,like a piggy back from hud to cluster? I cant see the hud yet, I guess I gotta pull the dash, which is really not easy since my cage is holding it in, So id like to avoid doing so at all cost. Can someone please let me know where it mite go.

your link to pics doesn't work. Is the white plug has wires with colors: yellow with blue stripe, yellow with black stripe, yellow with red stripe, yellow with green stripe, and green? because this connects your speed sensor to your speedo and HUD
