ok heres the deal. i have 2 sets of stock s14 wheels, and a pair of 16x7 impul rs, and i just ordered fn01r-c 17x9 +15 front 17x10 +25 rear. Now i want to daily drive the fn01r's since they are pretty :) but i want to drift them too which is why i got them in such wide/low offset.

I want to get st-115's to daily drive on because they have relativley good dry grip, great rain grip, and the price is right.

optimally for drifting i would run azenis rs in the front with whatever in the back.

side note, 4 of the s14 wheels have burn out quality rubber, and the pair of impul wheels and pair of s14 wheels on my car right now have pretty crappy tires as well, but not on the wear bars yet. the remaining 2 s14 wheels have nothing.

soo i guess what i am asking is - what tires would you buy for which rims, and which rims would you use for which kind of driving? :)

kumhos are really good as well. very good for driving around town...yet good enough for the drifting. since you are seemingly new to drift...don't spend big bucks on crazy sticky tires. get some ones that are relatively performance oriented. the 711 or 712 are good choices.

hmm really... i want to get somthing better than what i have currently for the rear but i dont want it to be so soft that it falls apart in 2 runs. i am thinking 235/40 or 45 all around, maybe downsize to 225. st115s in the front with hankook Ventus Hrii H405 (anyone know anything about this tire? just the cheapest i can find in the right size for the back, they also have kumho 711 for basically the same price but i dont want them chunking on me) in the rear.
