Hi. Great website and THANK YOU for hosting the FSMs. I've accessed my Armada's FSM a few times and was able to page through the PDF file from my iPad (handy when you're working on the vehicle). In the last few days, I'm not able to do this. I can only view the first page and it's embedded on the site's page. No sign of a navigation menu or "open in..." menu. I have iOS 9.3.3 installed and checked all Safari settings but couldn't find anything that would be applicable to viewing PDFs. Thanks for any tips.

Welcome to NICO!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The FSM currently is undergoing a revamp. Personally I've not encountered these issues, but a few others have. I should note that I'm using a Windows 10 laptop, so there may be an issue with formatting for devices using iOS.

Thanks for the update. That will explain things. I hope it's resolved soon. Love what you offer. A big thanks. Also, I think I mentioned it worked fine two weeks ago from both of my iOS devices.

In the mean time, you can always make a new thread about whatever issues you were having.

Echoing the OP's concern. I can't get the FSM to load in anything but my laptop. I regularly use my tablets (iOS and Android) as well as my iPhone to pull up the FSMs, literally with the device sitting on a dash, in an engine compartment, or on the ground with me as I work away. The native device PDF readers have been excellent for pulling up info on-the-fly. Owning a few aging Nissans, working on several other Nissans, being a frequent contributor to a couple of Nissan forums, and doing extensive research into cross-compatabilty projects (that is, needing to reference multiple FSMs for different vehicles and years), being able to quickly get FSM data and relay that information is beyond invaluable. The recent embedded solution has prevented that almost completely, unfortunately. Even this morning it would have been extremely useful, as my truck threw a limp-mode inducing P-code while away from home.

I know this is not the intention of the revamp. And hopefully the new changes aren't in response to misuse of the FSMs. I do hope the revamping process continues to make NICO a great resource, but if at all possible, please consider the above scenarios during the revamp. Thanks!

Also, just noticing that with the embedded viewer on a laptop (Mac/Chrome), without using the browser's native PDF reader/plugin, you also can't search the PDF or modify the view as easily as you would with the native reader. One solution is to download the section and open it in Adobe Reader, but that's not a very practical solution.

The addition of the link at the bottom of the page has resolved the issue for me using any of the iOS devices I own.

Yep, I noticed that link and have been using it (even on my laptop). That's sufficient for my needs!

On a PC you can set Adobe Reader to be your in-browser PDF viewer. Use Firefox.

Thanks for the kind words, all. Yep, we had to make some changes, because some unscrupulous wannabe "competitor" sites were mooching off our hard work and investment.

I'm more than happy to bust my butt to get you guys what you need, but when half-baked copycat sites try to play in our sandbox, I'm inclined to thump some heads. :)
