Recently had problems with my car, replaced alternator and now I have an oil leak. After driving shorty and letting it sit overnight I looked at the cardboard I put under it and there is a large spot of oil, here is where the major oil is under the car, any ideas? Cause I'm still learning and can't figure it out.

More than likely its the valve cover gaskets. Its a good days works if you have never done it on this car before.

Agreed, this is the most likely source. I didn't tighten my intake valve cover down enough and it leaked oil all down the back of the block and on the headers. If you can, wedge your hand down the back of the engine and feel the back of the head to see if its wet.

1. The thing is, I didn't have this problem at all prior to my z having a small electric fire on the alt due to grease. After replacing the alt and doing an oil change(yes the filter and drain plug are on tight) the leak just came out of f*** no where.

thats how it goes with these cars so you will have get use to it.... also check the pcv hose and any vac lines(if you didnt do the deletes) under the plenum. if there was a fire it is possible a hose got burnt or the extra heat finally did it in. they do fall apart over time anyways.
