I have a 91 240 with a kade. Fresh rebuild only 5k on the engine. recently installed a Fidanza light weigh flywheel, Fidanza 6-puck clutch, stock slave cyl, stock clutch master cyl, stainless clutch line, removed the bs slave box.

I have about 1000 miles on the new clutch etc.. here in the last couple hundred miles the car has started to be difficult to shift, now to a point where I cant even put the car in gear while the engine is running. I have to shut car of to engage the clutch..will not pull out of gear unless I use alot of force.

No it is unsafe to drive. Ive replaced the slave cyl, clutch master. bled the clutch got great movement of the slave cyl, proper fluids and levels and adjust the pedal at different points. It seems that the pedal does not have the stiffness that it originally had...

Friend to me that possibly the pressure plate may have gone bad. I have not really laid into the car or ran it that hard...No I am trying to figure what may cause this.

everything was torqed to spec. I do have a short shifter megan racing. Any clues or suggestions on what the problem might be????

I've had this happen on another car. The freeplay wasn't enough, the throwout bearing stayed in contact with the pressure plate, wore the fingers down on the pressure plate until the clutch wouldn't disengage.
