Can you explain further what you mean by canister?

If you are refering to a catch can then yes you should use one, and run the line back into the intake pipe.

if you are talking about the charcoal canister, i dont use it. i had to hook the lines back up together. it is mostly emission stuff.

One line goes from the intercooler piping to the wastegate. Another line goes from the throttle body to the BOV. The fuel pressure regulator and any boost gauge run off of another throttle body vac port. Cap any other vac holes (on the TB, intake pipe, etc).

hey thanks alot speedracer1, yell at me if this is a stupid question but..you said that one line goes from the intercooler piping..meaning there should be a nipple ment for it, and all ive noticed is a large one on the cold pipe for the large rubber line and on the other side one ment for a bypass valve (which i was told i need to block off) so is there one im missing somewhere? Usually you need to weld on your own wastegate vac nipple on aftermarket piping.

Couldn't you just tie into one of the vac lines running from the throttle body?

Not trying to steal the thread. But on my blk top engine I just reinstalled a charcoal canister. My throttle body has 2 larger ports and 2 smaller ones. I ran one of the larger ports to the canister and one of the smaller ones to the canister. I capped off the other smaller port. I used the remaining larger port for the bov & wastegate. I tapped into the FPR for the boost gauge. The smaller ports on the TB won't work for a boost gauge. Everything appears to be working correctly. Did I do anything wrong?

so whats with this setup with the lines, ive seen pics even before the manifold change and they still had a line running from the actuator directly to the throttle body?

ive got a manual boost controller and i was wondering if i did the lines like that...where would i put the boost contoller?

Check the throttle body vac lines to see if they are getting any vacuum, one of the holes sometimes does not actually have a vacuum. The easy way to tell is to start the car and pull off the vac hoses on the TB if you feel suction then the port works.

You *can* run the wastegate off the TB, but Nissan had all three SR20DET's running off a mixed signal from the cold pipe and the wastegate control valve so I just use the intercooler piping as the source.
