canister removal

is it safe to remove the canister in the back of the intake manifold becuase its causing me to have a boost leak and id rather get rid of it if possible?

what are you referring to? there's an actuator that moves the butterflies in the lower intake plenum. that's the only thing I can think of you might be referring to. If you remove it you'll lose alot of low end responsiveness.
