cancun or bahamas

hey y'all i was hoping. you guys could help me out here . i have a really hard decision to make. i can either go to cancun or the bahamas for my senior trip this year. i ahve no idea which one i want!! never been to either one of the palces. just wanted to know what you guys think.

I went to Cancun for spring break a couple years ago when I was in high school. It was pretty fun. Beach is great, water is great, rules are very lax...

I enjoyed it.

Can't comment on the Bahamas though...never been.

Cancun, alot of people I know that went to the bahamas said it was nice, but kinda dirty. That was a few years ago, maybe they have it worked out. I would still recommend Cancun.

Cancun will probably be more fun if you are into getting heavily intoxicated and meeting members of the opposite sex. Not surprisingly, I had a good time there.

But that may not be for everyone, you'll have to decide for yourself. It's a party town.

Playa del Carmen is about an hour south and is one of my favorite places, very laid-back and cool. Maybe worth the small cost of a cab ride to check it out for a day. There's scuba diving and other things to do as well...the Mayan Riviera is a great place.

Haven't been to the Bahamas, but have heard other reviews of them from friends/family. They are nice islands, but less "party" oriented, more "vacation" oriented, if that makes any sense. If it were up to me, I would pick Cancun and start getting inured to the taste of tequila.

I've been to both, Cancun is better if you're young, and less expensive. Both have great beaches, clear water and nice accomodations. I thought Cancun was a little more wild with more things to do see and do. Both are good choices.

Cancun! Go all-inclusive, without a doubt. Just know that all the bus drivers there are named "Speedy Gonzales". And they all want tips for having the easiest job in Cancun.

thanks guys!!!! i was leaning toward cancun anyway. my friend candice went there last year for her senoir trip and she sadi it was awesome!!! i think i would like the bahamas but not as much as cancun.

dont go to ether.. go to mexico, go in the pharmicy (sp?) and get urself some xanax and whatever els, then go to the liqur store and get a bottle of beer or whatever u like.. then go chillllll with some cool mexicans on the beach!

If your boyfriend is going then go to the Bahamas thats a much better place for couples, not as much "oh sorry i didn't know that you guys were together" stuff going on. Going to Cancun with your significant other is gonna end up with him giving people broken noses and stuff. Just less of a headache to go to the bahamas, the crowd there is older tho and its not all that great of a pary.

Now if your boyfriend is not going then go to Cancun and dont bring back any incriminating evidence

lol!!! fawaz i agree to a point but when we got together i told him if he cheats he is gone plain and simple. that is just on ething i don't put up with!! he agreed an dthe same thing went for me. well it looks like i'm gonna have to flip a coin or something!!! cuz i can't decide. and if i ask him his answer will more than likely "i don't care!!!". thanks guys for your input!!

lol fawaz!!! you might be right!! but i really honestly doubt he would do that!!! he juts ain't that type. but then i agian i have been fooled before. he is just more of a man then i have ever known!! i mean most guys i know that his age still live with their parents and gotta get money from the parents to take girls out. nope not him if he can'tpay we don't go!!! thats one thing i like about him he can stand on his own 2 feet. he has never cheated on any of his g/fs!! i can't wait to see cancun i will most likly posta few on here for y'all to enjoy hehehehehehehe!!

But seriously if you want to party, Cancun is the place. Chances are your gonna stay at the Cancun Oasis, everybody does the first time. lol

yea i know that is about all they do is party at college!!!! i am going to either georgia southern or alabama state!! well hopefully going to either one of those!! i just can't decide what i wanna do!! i would really like to be a singer/songwriter/dancer. but thats a long shoT!!! i need something to fall back on. but what i have no clue!!
