I did a search and I couldn't find if this was already posted. There is an issue with some Canadian Versas where the odometer is set to miles instead of kilometers. I just got my Versa last week. It was made in May 2006 and it is experiencing this issue. I've been driving in miles for the past week Here is the bulletin: http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety...14501& I found this issue when I calculated my fuel efficiency and I got 21L/100km. I knew something wasn't right!

Is the spedometer correct?

If so keep it that way and enjoy your free extended warranty.

If the dealer doesn't catch the problem... heck, play dumb and just do a rough estimate. it's about a 3:5 ratio. 3000 miles is almost 5000 km.

Yes the speedometer is correct. I thought about leaving it for the warranty, but I don't do a large amount of driving so I will hit the time limit on my warranty before I hit the distance limit anyways. Eventually the dealer will find it odd that I bring it for an oil change at 3750 "kilometers" (miles) instead of 6000 kilometers.

I bought my Versa end of August, and I received a letter about a month later for a recall to change the odometer.I believe all Canadian CVTs at the time were affected if I remember the letter correctly.
