We are seriously considering an AWD Roque with the leather package, either in the dark grey or white. Anybody have any idea about how much I can expect to get off the MRSP here in Canada???Thanks for any suggestions/links etc etc

I'm always ready to help my fellow Canadian. I will say that you can subtract $ 2700.00 from the MRPS and then you subtracts all cash incentives. There's a rumor that Nissan is giving a $500.00 cash incentive for buying a new Rogue. Good luck in your negotiations.

No, It's a Website that you pay and they give you the dealer invoice but I can't tell you which Website but if you pay $ 49.00 to this Website they will give you up to 5 quotes. I think it was a good investment.

Good luck!

I have used the same website. The best quote I have received from Calgary dealers is approximately $800 over invoice. Thats $31,500 for a FWD SL with premium package...all taxes,freight,fees...all in out the door.

Are you saying Ontario dealers will sell at invoice?

I paid just over $31K for my FWD SL Premium Package (including all the taxes etc).

Oh, actually it was less than that, because I forgot I got $1500 off on their incentive they had going in December.

Just for for info, I paid $239 over the real dealer invoice and that's here in Ontario at the end of the month. That's the best I could do.

Did I pay too much for my Rogue. It is a SL AWD w/premium package. My total in Canadian was $39,494.13 - This included the Rust Proofing, paint protection and upholstery protection.

SL AWD with premium package with Ontario PST/GST at invoice currently runs about $34,700. So you paid about $4,800 for the rust proofing, paint protection, etc and dealer profit.

OK, so paying the sticker prcie is the wrong thing to do. I have a feeling they were taking advantage of my girlfriend for a lease on a Rogue. She cannot afford to buy, and we really need a more economic vehicle than this.... She's a really nice truck but it's not that great on gas. Up here in the Yukon is $100 to fill up the Frontier. And that gets me about 480km.So anyway, she really wants to go in this weekend and possibly get one or find one somewhere with the options we want(leather/tech. packages) also she likes the Ivory colour so that would be our(not my.. ) first choice. So the total before taxes will be about $36,500. Going in with an offer of say the range of $33-34k would be a wise choice???

Invoice is $33,752 on that vehicle.

This is before any factory to dealer rebates. Junes rebate is $500.

Check with RogueMaMa on another thread. She got a new Rogue at Alberta, fully loaded at $31k or so + taxes comes to $35k.

mmbedman ~ As XRogue mentioned and as I posted in another thread - I DID get the SL AWD Iridium Graphite Rogue with premium leather package and the technology package for $31k Canadian here in Edmonton, AB (after taxes - my total payment was $35k). I did not get the rust package or the other upsells offered at the closing. My brother works for an Autobody shop so it was cheaper for me to bring it for those little extras from him.

We had the same offer (online quote) from another Dealership Sherwood Park) on March 31st.... so when we produced a copy of this - the Dealership we bought from matched that price.

We do not have provincial sales tax here so maybe that helped? Regardless - that's what I paid. It was brand new and I rolled it off the lot with 12 km on it.

LOVE my Rogue!

I am not sure I would get that solid of a deal here in Whitehorse. On my Frontier, which is a 2006; I paid $29k +gst. Had a sticker price around $32,500. I think that was not a bad deal for my first time. Also considering how awesome that truck performs/feels.We actually took a Rogue out for a second test drive today, along with a CRV and Rav4. Didn't really care for the CRV although it had a well laid out interior/cargo.The Rav4 was a V6(which we aren't considering but thats all they had) but it felt quite nice. Though I still liked the feel of the Rogue. Also consider we would like a fully loaded SL, and all we have had to test is a SL w/premium pack. Thanks for all the help guys..

You will see I am from Alberta as well. Your math is a little off. 31k plus 5% GST would make your total price $32,550, not $35,000.

The invocie price I quoted includes freight...that may be what you have left out. Maybe you are leaving out the Document fees or other miscellaneous fees.

With taxes and dealer rebate. Invoice pricing comes to $34,939 for a AWD SL premium package with tech ...just below 35k. So if you are telling me you paid about 35k...I buy that.

Any less than that means that the dealer has sold the vehicle at a loss.

My apologies - mmbedmanMy husband will attest that I am the worst with math. I paid more attention to what I doled out cash wise (although the bottom line was that I paid $35k total)

Here's the breakdown on my invoice (SL AWD Premium Leather & Technology)

33,213.38 - selling price-------------------------------+100 - excise tax+20 - documentation fee-------------------------------33,333.38 - subtotal------------------------------+ 1666.67 - gst-----------------------------35000 - total paid

whew! I was thinking I got ripped off when I saw what Rogue Mama paid. Still a great deal on your part.

I got my FWD SL back in March when the Nissan incentive was $350 instead of $500.$1700 off MRSP so about $29,500 out the door.

I am from Edmonton as well and the invoice price of my SL AWD with the leather and technology package with freight, PDE, and GST came to $37,107.00. Not sure how Rogue Mama got hers for $2000 less for the exact same model.

I know that messages posted on message boards can be easily misconstrued - but I somewhat feel as though some people don't feel I'm being forthright or honest. I copied in my above post exactly what's on my invoice.

When I initially posted - I stated my starting price was $31k - mmbedman pointed out that my math was inccorrect to get the bottom price I paid and when I pulled out the invoice - he was right and I posted the exact details and apologized for my mathmatical error in starting price.

The bottom line is that I paid $35k (CAN) at Mills Nissan in Edmonton on 34th ave & 91 st (now relocating to Ellerslie Rd). My salesperson at Mills was Justin L. They matched an online quote that I had from Sherwood Park Nissan from Paul P (dated March 31st).

I had no idea that this was better than what others paid. We negotiated what we felt was a fair price based on other online quotes we had. Brand new..... no trade.... SL AWD premium with black leather and the technology package (Iridium Graphite). It was delivered straight from port.

Hi Rogue Mama. I for one, was certainly not questioning your honesty.

Your last post did clarify the issue. The difference is "invoice" vs "vehicle purchase agreement". When I referred to the "invoice price" of my Rogue, I was referring to the actual Nissan "invoice" posted on the window. Dealers will of course sell for less than invoice and you did that by negotiating a cash price and getting the vehicle for $2000 less than invoice; good work! Hence, your "vehicle purchase agreement" showed the sale price of $35,000.

I had a trade, so of course they gave me a higher value for my trade knowing that they could come down in price from the original invoice value.

I got mine from Mills as well; pick it up tomorrow. Glad they are moving by Ellerslie Road and Gateway. It will be close for me; I live in Ellerslie Crossing. If you live on the south side, look for me in a Airstream silver Rogue. It was the one in the showroom.

Cheers!!

Thanks ~ Roguemeister! I appreciate your explanation of "invoice". I buy a new vehicle about every 10 years - so I'm not so up on the car-sales lingo. Again - I apologize for any confusion.

I too am very happy for the Mills dealership to move to Ellerslie (I live in Blackburne) so it'll be much closer for me too. I understand they'll also have a drive-thru oil-change bay too!

Congratulations on your new Rogue! I'll be sure to watch for you in your airstream silver! The other day I was driving through Millwoods and saw a new blue Rogue (purchased from Mills too from what I could see on his plate frame). The man drove up beside me and gave me the Rogue thumbs up! There still aren't that many around the city - so it's good to see others take pride in their ride like me!

ENJOY that new ride! Cheers back at ya!

Was that the Premium Package or the regular FWD SL?

Regular, but this is the '08 model.

There are plenty of deals galore now, and I wouldn't be surprise if you could get $1000-$2000 off that price these days.
