I've looked and looked on our site but doesn't seem that anyone has ever posted about wiring up canadian drl's on a USDM 240sx. Any of you vert bros or sista's ever done this mod? I'd like to be able to wire this up to either come on with my parking lights or with a toggle. Or if anyone has the info and place to get the harnesses and module/relay for them to work just like they do on the canadian 240sx's would be really cool, this is what I would really want to do. I have them on my car...just not hooked up. Please if any of you can give me any info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

adrians_s13 put a switch for his DRLs. This is what he said when I saked him.

"umm.. i didnt do it the right way like the canadians (supposed to turn on automatically when the car is on), i just hooked them up with a swith kinda like if i were to put on aftermarket foglights. one wire possitive, one on ground, and plug a fuse and switch somewhere on the line, and bam. (i placed the switch where cruise control would go, i dont have cruise control)."

This is what PDM says:http://www.pdm-racing.com/prod....html"Canadian Daytime Running LightsWant the look that will distinguish your 1991-1994 240SX from others around you? This is the lighting touch that others will notice. Canadian daytime running lights direct from Nissan that are low watt lights that can be wired into your parking light circuit, or be wired alone. These lights come complete with all the mounting hardware needed to replace the US "grilles" that fit below the stock bumper turn signals.- note these are low wattage lights, and can be upgraded with moderately higher wattage bulbs, HOWEVER these are not meant to be night time auxiliary driving lights, or replacements for the factory headlights, and are plastic lenses and housings, that cannot take regular 55 watt bulbs."

My opinion on this is... if you have a white car don't do it. Looks ugly. They look good on red, black or any dark color S13s. You should also use yellow bulbs. They look much better. I'll post some pics for you. This is adrian_s13's car.

They look like this on a white s13. I thought about getting DRLs for my car, but I gave up after I saw this pic... I have white s13.

BTW, for the yellow bulbs. This is what adrian_s13 is using. Nokya hyper yellow 1156.

As far as wiring goes, just hook it up with parking lights. That'd be very simple to do. I hope this helps...
