I see there is a Canadian car dealer selling used vehicles from the US at Canadian prices! I wonder how the warranty works for the Rogue and if anyone had any experience with this dealer.

This is nothing new. Used cars (off lease, trade-ins, etc) are traded at auction everyday. Some from the US, others from Canada. Dealers buy them, then turn around and sell them at a profit... whatever the market price dictates. This is just smart business.

New cars are a different story. I'm sure if a Canadian Nissan dealer were to start importing brand new vehicles from the US, they would quickly get a slap on the hand from Nissan corporate!

Re: Warranty

None. If it was a Nissan from the US transferred to Canada. Nissan Canada will not honour the warranty and Nissan USA states the warranty is void if transferred to another country.

There is a consumer advocacy group called APA in Canada. They have a listing of warranties and if they are transferrable:

Nissan is not alone, Honda, VW, Mitsubishi and others have similar policies.

Said dealer might be offering some sort of '3rd party warranty' if it's indeed a US vehicle.
