Hey, anyone who has an intake system for their 2008 Altima Coupe where did you purchase it? I have been talking with Fujita and Injen. They both will ship to Canada but I am wondering if anyone has gone another route, preferably a cheaper one... Please let me know. I live in Saskatchewan if that makes a difference. There are not a lot of websites that will ship to Canada that I can find. Please help a fellow a/c owner out.

Fujitaonline.comThey were pretty reasonable when I got mine. If possible, ask any company you deal with to ship with a company OTHER THAN UPS... FedEx, DHL, USPS are all better alternatives and won't try to screw you over with "brokerage fees".

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your Fujita intake and what was the shipping rate? Right now as it stands with the Canadian dollar in the tank it would be around 40$ Canadian for shipping and 230$ for the intake system itself. So almost 300$... I was wondering if there were any places cheaper that someone has dealt with.

You can probably get them at any parts store (parts source, NAPA, dealership) but it will probably still be cheaper from the states to get it shipped, the K&N intake would have been almost $400 from NAPA. Have you checked eBay?

Sorry buddy, can't help you there. Gotta love that exchange rate, hey? *sigh* I got mine about a year ago when we were close to par with the US$$$. I think I paid about $205CAD shipped then...

Hey Chuck

Best thing to do is call around. I'm in Saskatoon and one of the local shops - GSS - garrentees that he's the cheapest and he will ship out of city as well.

GSS where is that? I am in Saskatoon on a regular basis and I have family so a trip up there to pick it up is not out of the question for me. What brand of intake did you get from GSS and if you don't mind was is less than 300$?

GSS is on Faithfull in the north industrial area.

I didn't get mine from there b/c I had a buddy working at a another shop at the time when I bought and I paid $359 for my AEM (you saw it one one of the other forms).

My bro just bought though GSS and he garrentees the lowest price with shipping - He just pick up an AEM for is Tacoma for $299 + tax (not bad for the low Can. dollar)

Good luck

Thanks a bunch man!

I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they are able to do. The other shop that your friend used to work at, what shop was that? I am just curious about the name just so I can check out their prices as well.

Tiger - but he's left now otherwise I'd pass the deals along. I think the regular price for the AEM was $429 or $459 at the time.

If you're willing to wait a little bit, Racingline is releasing an intake.

I think everyone agrees that they make a quality product at a very good price.

Plus Joe has unreal customer service. They're based out of Vancouver but they ship.

Shoot Joe an email and he should let you know the availability and pricing.

^^^^I talked to Joe about this before and he told me they'd have them shortly after X-Mas. This was, of course, just before the economy really took a dive so I don't know what the current situation is now........

They make high quality products, and best of all...they're Canadian! I've gotten my front and rear endlinks from them, as well as my short-throw shift kit (you can see my review here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRVx49tN4iU ) and their customer service is awesome!

Yeah I actually did some of the prototyping for the intake and the stb.

I talked to Joe not that long ago and he said he's still working hard on the intake and it should be ready soon.

I give Joe huuuuge credit for still delivering parts at a great price with the economy the way it is.

ESP said it best. A Canadian comany that makes high quality products for a lower price with unreal customer service! If I didn't know any better, I'd think it was a scam!! lol

Hey guys I sent an email to Racingline performance and I will wait to hear back from them. I have also called GSS but I am still waiting to hear back from them. Also ESP, say the video... Very nice Fujita intake? and also the short throw shifter looks great. With the short throw shifter is your car still covered under factory warranty?

Hey Chuck,I just got an eMail from Joe informing me that the intake project is still a GO, but they're currently working on some more suspension goodies for us!

Unless they can prove that a particular aftermarket part is responsible for any problems, then you're good to go. I don't forsee it causing any issues, so go nuts with it.

Thanks ESP, I am looking at getting my intake for the summer. Which means I hope that Joe can finish it up quickly. I also sent them an email so I will probably get the same response you did. I am calling around some places in Saskatoon and Regina but so far no luck on intake systems. I have also been going on Ebay, but there are only Fujita and Injen which cost around 300+ before shipping and handling...

Looks like Joe says it should be within the next 30 days for him to get something together for the intake.

How much are you selling it for? Also curious as to how come you are selling it? Yes I am interested.

Also Thanks everyone for the input and suggestions, it's nice to see so much feedback and support from fellow Canadian A/C owners!
