How do you tell. What the difference between LSD and VLSD. I have a Canadian 92 LE with ABS and it definately has lsd. Both wheels break loose under acceleration on ice or gravel

AFAIK, the 240SX only has a Viscous Limited Slip Differential, which is a type of LSD. Unlike an Open Diff or a Clutch type LSD, the VLSD consists of two plates and...wait for it...a viscous fluid. If you wanted a clutch-type LSD, you would have to install an aftermarket one yourself.

the V stands for Viscous, its the type of LSD 240's came with from factory.

it is a myth, i was told this for like a year to, and anyone on NWN(north west nissan, cnd 240 board) its not true, but LSD's are rather comon on CND 240's

Yep thats one area that I know nothing about. But I did make it a point to test it and see if I had power delivery to both wheels
