Canadian 240..DOHC swap.. and Digital Dash question

I have an 89 Canadian 240 and i swapped in a DOHC.. Now i know that the sohc cluster doesn't support the Tachometer when you do the swap... i just picked up 2 digital dashes with HUDS... one is a DOHC cluster and the other one is a SOHC cluster... even when i plugged both in though..the tach is still not working... i forgot to mention though that only one of the digital dashes came with a wiring harness and it was the SOHC... i have the FSM but i'm missing the wiring diagram.. doesn't anyone know how i can repin the harness so the tach works... i would greatly appreciate it

omg thank you.. no one ever told me to cut the SOHC connector and use it instead... i'ma try it.... i really appreciate it alot

Jack - Here's what you do:

Take the HUD unit and DOHC harness (and cluster) and put them in a box.

Address it to me.

Stick it in the mail.

Sit back and wait for me to email you a "Thank you".

Man, I wanna put HUD in the 'vert so bad...

i'm having issues with it shutting off on me.. its not the dash though.. Stuck it in another friends USDM 240 and its fine....its my wiring in the "canadian" crapSX ... i'll see what i can do... i'll keep ya posted... For some reason though i miss my stock KPH dash ... maybe its because it was unique... and it got me out of so many speeding tickets....I still have it.. may swap it in so i might just go ahead and start packaging it up for ya...

btw sorry about not being to come to the dinner... school had to come first before fun.. maybe next time.. it'll be at my place.. :-D
