Hey

What company do you guys use to order your parts online to a canadian resedential address. Is there a best website or site sponsor to order from with good prices, easy orderring, etc. I cant seem to find any in the directory

Specifically I need to get some general tune up parts for my car, as well as the plastic cover for the gauge cluster

free shipping, no duties and they carry pretty much a ton of aftermarket company's parts... You will find what you're looking for here... and they will match a lower price if you can give them proof (web link)

I cheat.
I order from courtesyparts.com, and have it shipped to a friend in Virginia.
I wait until I'm down there for a visit and bring it all back with me.

What part of Canada are you in?

With UPS, you can often have your package shipped to the closest UPS warehouse on the US side. Cross the border, show your ID, pick up your package, then come back and just pay a bit of duty. Or not, if it's something small and not noticeable.

I bought four Nokian Hakkas for about half the price of what I could get them in Canada -- saving $800 -- but the UPS charges would have killed me. So I had them shipped to the UPS warehouse in Sweetgrass, MT. I made a good trip out of it... it's a 5 hour drive from Edmonton to the border, so I took a few days off and visited some friends in Calgary, too. The warehouse charged me $20 for this service.

Much easier if you're closer to the border and it's just an hour-long trip or shorter. Some warehouses may or may not do this; Google around and find guys in your area who've done this before. If you want, once you find guys who've had successes, you can call up the warehouse they used just to make sure.

I'm in Ottawa, about 45 minutes from the New York state border, near Ogdensburg.
There is a UPS outlet in Ogdensburg that is very popular with Canadians. They do exactly as you said.
However, That particular UPS outlet is VERY busy. There are package's lined up and piled up all over the place.
I have heard from several reliable sources that stuff has gone missing from there on a regular basis.
It is very insecure.
For that reason, I go the Friends-in-Virginia route.
Cheers.

Just looked at this site, not really that impressed. Their stock in the suspension is lacking harshly for the R50. I would recommend 4x4parts.com and having them shipped to somewhere close to the boarded or a friends house. Also the dutie fees on most of this stuff is either free or 6% (2010 canadian tariffs) or you are really only paying the boarder fee and the regular taxes, still not great but if you need something badly and have no options it will not hurt your wallet to much.

I don't understand your statement.... I bought my kyb gr2, my rancho rs9000xl, balljoints, brakes, belts, etc... there.... you need to know how to search... don't search for oem replacement parts, search for performance parts with the part number.... they even carry the warn hubs, etc...
