Can you use Z32 rear struts on a S14 with a z32 rear uprights?

Has anyone done this? I am needing to replace my stocks and wheel bearings on my 5 lug conversion and was thinking about getting a set of AGX shock and Tein S springs (daily driver).

Since I already have the Z32 uprights, I was hoping to use them.

Thanks!

Nathan

Sorry about posting in the wrong section.

I have read that and similar how to guides several times before converting to 5 lug. I don't post a lot... but I am not a total noob .

Here is what I have:

Current: Setup is 5 lugs (swap) on the standard rear 240sx knuckles (uprights).

I am going to need to do a wheel bearing change and really want to use the left over z32 knuckles that I got with my swap from the yard.

I do not want coil overs. I drive this car everyday. I would rather have the reliability of shocks\spring combo (and the comfort).

I understand the differences between the knuckles (they are right in front of me). 300ZX slips over the knuckle, 240sx slips between the knuckle.

If I order an AGX for a Z32 will it fit in my 240sx with the z32 knuckle...I.E. length of shock and upper mounting position.

Or is it even worth it?

according to that writeup, and i am paraphrasing, yes it will work. the only difference afaik (not firsthand knowledge) is the mounting position.

I am going to compare a set of shocks at my local parts store just to make sure on the length. I will post after I determine if there is no issue. Thanks for the info.
