Can you remove the stock oil sensor Completely??

91 nissan 240

redtop S13

can i remove it completely ( Is it just for the dummy light)

I installed an AEM oil sensor in its place

I searched and found oil sensor threads but no one said they removed it completely

Yeah it's just for the light so it is no issue.
