i have a 90 240sx (SOHC) & i dont wanna spend $100+ on a new fuel pressure regulator, wanted to know if you can buy a rebuild kit & replace the internal gaskets/diaphragm, etc????? or if you can somehow clean the internals & free it up inside????

As far as i can tell you cant even open it so I don't think you can rebuild it. I have had to replace mine a couple of times. Just make sure that the new one comes with some kind of warranty (most usually come with a 1 yr)and keep the receipt. I think autozone is where i got mine and it was only $75. have funn changing it, it's not very roomy back there.

what you are suggesting is akin to overhauling a Bic pen. I love ya but quit being cheap and take this opportunity to step up to an adjustable.
