I got my 240 towed last night because it was too low.My 18'' rims would touch the inner wheel well when turning sharply.this is EXTREAMLY unacceptable in BC, it burns rubber and is not ecofriendly . Anyway, im lowered on H&R springs at the moment and want to invest in coilovers. I want stance LX, am I able to raise the car to stock ride height for the inspection on the stance's?

You could but that's just gay as f***. Get coilovers, it'll be stiffer, therefore harder to rub.

Im confused. why not fix your problem in a different way? If it rubs your fenders, roll them. If it hits the inner wheel well, space them out, or if your baller, tunnel them. I dont see how raiseing the car is going to give you more room for turning... Get a spacer

Your in Victoria? Join up BC240 if you haven't already.

With coilovers you can raise it higher than stock if you want. The coilovers will stiffen up the car so you won't have as much suspension travel which is causing the rubbing.

Sounds like you need to figure out an offset that works better

My rims are enormous. 18x9.5 with 245/40/18'sI don't plan on getting to rims, i love them too much.but my koni/h&r set up is crap. I want to get coilovers anyway.thanks for the input. When the car is sitting stationary and crank the wheel there is no clearence between the weather shield and the tire. I have no idea how the cop managed to see that.

Does anybody in BC know what they look for in a safety inspection?Do they look for a cat convertor?Do they care if ABS is functioning?Victoria is not an AirCare city btw
