Hi you all, I hope someone maybe able to help me a bit with this.

I am going to have HID light installed on my Rogue(2009). I have seen couple of pics about it, and I have got the idea how to do so. However, the next question come out is how can I start? What I am really asking is if I could get the job done without remove the front bumper? It may take hours to do so and I am not even sure if I am actually able to remove it myself.

So if anyone have the answer, please give me a hand. Thanks alot!!!

Taylor

If all you are doing is an HID bulb retrofit, you can access the bulbs and wiring from inside the engine compartment. No need to remove the bumper.

Howdy Taylor,As Philipa already identified, there is no need to remove the front bumper if all you are doing is installing a HID headlight upgrade. You might be thinking of other threads where members referenced removing the front bumper to install aftermarket fog light or even the "Home Depot" mod:zerothread?id=445193

If you purchased an aftermaket HID kit it should be "Plug-N-Play". All you need to do is decide where and how you want to mount the ballast transformers. Everything can be accessed from under the hood.

Here's a good thread for reference pics of HID installs:zer...age=1
