Can you install a bose stereo into a Altima 2.5S?

Got a 2005 Altima 2.5S with the NDSS stereo system and im seriously dissapointed with the sound quality and lack of bass(especially in comparision to the rockford fosgate system in my se-r)
Would it be a really expensive to have the bose system found in the 2.5SL/3.5SE installed?
If so what other upgrades can i perform on the cheap?

replacing the head unit alone will have a huge impact on your sound quality, you can start there. Getting the Bose and installing it will be probably just as expensive as an aftermarket setup and likely wont sound as good as a properly setup aftermarket system
