Hey, I'm kind of new to this engine work stuff,so i'll just get to the point.

-I wish to buy a 1995 Nissan 240sx and convert it to a s14.My question is, I want to do a engine swap, and I have decided to use a SR20DET engine. Would a Spec R 6speed Manual Transmission or another 6 speed transmission work with the engine?Or should I just stick with the regular 5-speed?

hello and welcome. 1st things first, a 95 IS an s14... so no conversion required. Do you mean you want to swap it to a 97-98? if you do you need:-fenders-hood-lights-bumper-bumper core support-turn signals...i believe

as for the sr20, which one?

-red top... would use a 5 speed trans and no u cant use the 6

-black top s13... same as red

-black top s14... same as red

-black top s15...6 speed baby

so it all depends on what you want

sorry but it sounds like you dont know what tha **** your talking about. first of all a 1995 os am s14 sp what the ****.. wow kid an s15 is 6 speed.
