1) Turbo (Compressor side)
2) Filter
3) Blow Off Valve (recirculated in this diagram)
4) Intercooler
5) MAF
6) Throttle Body
7) Recirculated air line

There are more, but my search function isn't working right now, try yours. If you search blow off valve under google images, you will get several images like the two above.

There is a small hose nipple directly under the throttlebody. That hose leads to the evap can purge. If it's in use, T into it. If it's capped, plug into it. That's the best place.

thanks boys, got her hooked up. now... time for compression test :tisk: hopefully that is not my problem. i have traced the no start issue to either
compression or injectors, or wiring for the injectors somewhere. i pray its injectors lol

You should hear them clicking; there can be no doubt. That's a 20 year old motor. You would be surprised if it had low compression?

What are the symptoms of your no-start? Is it trying to turn over? Do you have spark?

My old CA slowly lost compression in #1 and exhibited increasingly difficult starts. If you confirm the injectors are firing, it's time to pull out the compression gauge.

hey guys i just skimmed through a little bit of wiring on my lunch break (not the full harness so i still got more searching to do) but anyway i found 3 blue wires with a white strip spliced into another blue wire with a white stripe. this isnt much info but just thought id ask if anyone figured this could be posing a problem or anything..
i can get pictures also if you guys wanna see.. any input on that?
i am going to uncover all of the wires after work tonight and see if i can find any other odd things. thanks!

haha i guess thats why there is a preview button before posting lol :chuckle:

dont be fooled by the location, i pulled out the ecu so i could look for loose wires.
i found these...
both pictures actually sit close to the firewall on the inside of the engine bay if that helps make a difference with anything.

anybody got any help or insight?

If you look at the ECU connector, you should find a L/W (blue with white stripe) wire going in there somewhere. If you can tell me which connector pin it is, I can tell you what it is.

the wire that is loose doesnt run to the ecu clip, its coming from the engine and is cut before it gets to the ecu clip.
