I did a search and could not find any information on problems with the Bluetooth System.."breaking up" during calls.

The problem: Calls made or received through the Bluetooth (Friends and Customers) are saying more and more. "you are breaking up". I am with AT&T and while they are not perfect (and I don't believe any of them are) it has never been this bad.

Possibilities: Could be the Blackbeery (but it does not have this problem through normal operation). Could be AT&T...could be the Infiniti Bluetooth system.

Question: Anyone else have this issue?

There are so many things that will effect this system. Depending on what type of cutting out you are getting reports of there may be different causes. One thing I see with the BBs is the encryption setting in the BT menu is set to on there might be some issues. Also you may want to try deleting the phone from the cars memory and resetting your phone, pull the battery. And restart everything. Sometimes reestablishing the connection helps their connectivity. Also given the location of the microphone in the G35 coupe you will never get ideal quality out of the conversation. But keeping all the windows closed and speaking loudly is always required for the most part.

Have you noticed a decrease in call quality over time or has it always been this way?

If you do allot of driving and talking you may want to think about getting something like the Parrot Mk9100. I have the previous model in my car and have replaced my Zune with Pandora with my BB, best thing ever. Unlike the factory models the aftermarket ones use dual microphones and noise cancellation software that the OE setup lacks.
