Can you handle another question about driver side door that won't unlock/open?
Ok, so I finally got the driver's door opened but I can't get the *&^% door panel off. I have the 4 screws out of the bottom of the door, as well as all of the plastic clips, but there is still something holding it on. I took the passenger door apart to see how to open this door and it helped a lot. On the passenger door in the handle there is that little plastic cap that covers a screw, that is the screw that is keeping me from getting the door panel off. I am assuming that the screw is under the electrical window controls. How do I get that off? I have pryed on it from every direction and I am afraid I am going to break it. If someone can tell me exactly where or how to pry on it, so I don't break it, that would be great. Thanks so much for all your help. I love this forum.

Are all J30's the same? There is no plastic cap in the finger grip. Does the control cluster have to come off first? Where do I pry exactly, top, bottom, inside? "Re-shaped plastic putty knife" Please explain the re-shaped? Sorry, I'm stupid, a real moron sometimes. I hate my car. My husband hates it too, he won't touch it. So I have to do all the work on it myself. It took me 3 days to get the door opened. Anyone wanna buy a 94 J30? only has 60,000 miles. lol just kidding, sortof!
