Can you fit 235's on the stock S14 SE rims??

I'm lookin to get some 235/16/55's... I know 225's will fit ( at least, i'm pretty sure they will)... But I was wondering if I could get 235's on there... I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to tire stuff...Thanks in advance for the input!!Michael

235s would be pushing it toooo much.225s fit fine.

Anything over 205 hurts performance. Going too wide on a wheel not only looks stupid but hinders performance. Stick with wahatever the stock width is, if not narrower.

I agree, I think 215's are the MAX I'd go on stock SE wheels.
