Can you fit 16" steel wheel to 2014+ Rogue?

I tried to put on generic 16" steel wheel to my 2016 Rogue last night but wheel is hitting caliper.
I am wondering if Nissan steel wheel is better? How about 16" alloy wheel?

I like to down size to 16" winter wheel from 17".

When I bought my 2014 sv it came with the oem 17" summer tires but I managed to get four 16" steelies with winter tires on them for $500. They told me they were from nissan and fit great.
