in my 1991 240sx ka has an injector that is not firing. i got it to work for about 20 miles just by switching its cylinder. can i clean or fix it some how? or do i have to buy a new one? can i buy just one or do i need to buy a set of 4? cheapest price? should i get one from nissan or should i buy one from somewhere? if i JUST get the 10% bigger injectors will i get more horsepower?? ( if i did that i would get a whole set)thanks!

Get it ultrasonically cleaned. I did and cured my hardstarting problem

Running a top engine cleaner through a main vacuum line should help (if not entirely) clear up those types of problems... It'll clean out the carbon deposits and other nasty stuff that accumulates, and blow it out the exhaust.

Most shops that deal with preventative maintenence should have a service like that available...fuel injection cleaning. I know the one at Jiffy Lube costs $59.99...just for reference.

What type of cleaner do you use on and you mean just run it thru the main vac line on the power boost for the brakes?

Get them ultra'd like Nate said. Its a good investment. While there out have them flow tested and put the highest flowing injector in cylinder #4.
