Oh come on.

The only person who for sure knows the answer is 4drmadness, but I thought it would be fun for some guesses along the way.

It's actually quite funny!!!

...and not really a joke either.

He went to help lower the G for 4drmadness. 4drmadness was saying he'll supply food and drink.

hm I can see the burger being a food. But fruity pebbles? And the drink .......bottle of techron? Wait I just pictured it.

I don't know.

But I think it has to do with the lowering the G.

So it would be a lowered G?

If I am right you have to send me that damn cookie. LOL I worked for it. J/K My brain hurts. It is morning and I just came home 5 hours ago.

Send me your address zozo!!!

4drmadness and I lowered his sedan over the weekend. I was hoping the loser would have posted up pics by now, but you found out the answer prior to.

What did I get out of the whole ordeal?

A box of fruity pebbles (Vivek is a weird guy), a bottle of techron, and a wendy's chicken sandwhich.

I omitted the sore muscles, lack of sleep, and blackened hands lol.

That gave it away. I remembered I was reading about you offering help. So I did a little search.

Thanks for the cookie offer. It would cost you money to send you here. I can't take it. But thanks again. If I go to Ca I'll email you to heat up the oven and pack the fridge. Also I still have like 8lbs of kit kat left in my coldroom.

I think we spent around 13-14 hours in total swapping out his suspension.

He's going to do a write-up and I'll have a few things to add as well. The instructions posted on G35NYC were NOT complete and they left out some of the most important, DANGEROUS parts of the install.

It was fun overall. Especially when we did the rears and Vivek say "It didn't drop" "it was supposed to drop 1 inch"

We take it for a test drive and when we get back, his inch disappeared lol.

Nice stuff!!! I was thinking you were reffering to those new sandwiches from wendys...

You know, the one's that look like they're dripping with BBQ sauce? I like those sandwhiches, spicy with buffalo sauce.

Anyhow... Nice of you to help him out Nate I'm hoping to get some support from my buddy during the NOS install... if not, I've decided I may get it done professionally, just to be on the safe side... I got a quote for 200 for install with the wideband kit installed around or above $500 for everything... except some gauges, bottle heater, and the purge solenoids etc. May cost me a lil $$$ but should be worth every penny keep you guys posted on my prog....

Soooo.... wheres our pics... hmm?

I like "pretty" drinks mainly because they taste better and can be adjusted with my favorite hard liquor.

Other than Corona, I haven't found a beer that I can even sip, let alone drink.

Favorite drink:

Vanilla Coke (Coke and GOOD Vanilla Vodka well chilled).

Just about anything with Wilson's Creek Chocolate Liqueur is always good too.Vivek offered no alcohol!!!

Did you guys do more than springs?Have to use a spring compressor?

I put springs and cc plates on my 97 cobra (non-IRS) with help in 4 hours. No compressors needed.

I helped a buddy put springs/cc plates/struts on his 99 cobra (IRS) and it took us 12 hours!!!!! WAS a PITA!!!!! Had to use compressors. So, I feel your pain!!!

Oh, and is that a box of TRIX in the back of his car??

We did the whole revised 350z suspension. Springs and shocks.

Vivek rented a spring compressor from Autozone, but it was too long and the wrong kind to boot. This was the flimzy type that went inside the spring with little hooks and a fork on the other end.

Well here's the problem. On the rears, the springs are short, so the rod was longer than the height of the spring. For the front, the shock resides inside the spring like a shock, so there was no way to use the spring compressor there either.

If it weren't for my fat ***, we wouldn't have been able to compress the spring enough to get the upper mount bolted on (still had issues here).

The nice part was that the rears were easily compressed with a floor jack (once the lower control arm was forced to it's limit lol). The fronts were VERY finicky and you had to move the shock out, then remove the A-arm, then pull the whole assembly.

After having done that set, I think we could do it again in about half the time. This time with food, LIGHT, and alcohol.

I'll make sure the write up is more thorough than the one on the other forum.

You needed to rent a strut compressor! The spring compressor is in the middle of the spring... the strut is two different ones on the outside of the spring!

I used the strut compressor when i did the lift on my jeep!

That took me 14 hrs but I did it all alone!

I can't wait to see pics... I really have thought about this on my car as well!
