Could drilling two more holes in in the OEM sway bar make them stiffer? I know that doesn't make any sense till you see the pictures in the link.

Also does anyone know the thread pitch for the sway bar bushing mounting bracket bolts?

The threaded holes in the sub frame in my car were rusted and when I received my sway bars last year I decided to install them on Christmas day. I never used grease when I put the bolts for the bushing brackets. Needless to say I need to chase the threads on the sub frame. I have been working on another brand of car for so long I forgot a ton about the Q.

You won't be drilling new holes in the factory bar, but to stiffen the front bar is pretty simple...

First, urethane bushings on frame mounts and endlinks.
If that's not enough, you can shorten the endlinks. This is done by using shorter sleeves and bolts.

I did my Q that way. Also, if you're running a rear bar, softening the rear bar effectively increases the effectiveness of the front bar (basic explanation).

If you DON'T have a rear bar, adding one is a nice upgrade. If you DO have a rear bar, upgrading to the Active suspension rear bar is yet another upgrade.

Suspension shops can make new sway bars with OEM bars as a reference.
