Love the 37 mpg!!!

Only once had to have a tpms wheel sensor replaced.

Nothing else has, the car ride great. Best econobox I have ever had.

Sure, I'll be the first response. --CRAP XTV BEAT ME TO THE PUNCH...ERR...POST!--I've had no serious problems with my V.By serious, I mean anything I can't fix myself in less than 10 minutes.I have an SL with the 6MT and conv. package. The iKey totally rocks once you get used to it.I like the 6-disc changer, the MP3 playback, and the bluetooth integration, although I haven't used the BT yet.I love the smooth ride, fairly nimble handling, decent acceleration, and overall feeling of luxury.I currently own (in addition to my V, or course!) a 2001 Toyota Avalon XLS and a 2004 Toyota Sequoia SR5, so when I say the V gives a feeling of luxury, I mean that it rides better than the Sequoia and almost as good as the Avalon, while costing less than half the cost of either of them.I'm not thrilled with the shifting of the manual transmission, nor am I in love with the fuel economy.I really can't say much bad about my V, but that was the point of your posted, wasn't it?

I have the SL with CVT. I have had no problems at all. I love my little car. My only complaint has been with the gas mileage. I've been getting from 24 to 26 mpg. However, this current tank of gas seems to be lasting longer than others. So perhaps the break in has happened and I'm finally going to get decent mileage. I even bought the hat!

My feelings exactly about my Versa. One TMPS problem that was a sensor. NO other issues so far. I have about 5,000 miles on it. Great gas mileage about 30-31 mpg. Great acceleration and the interior finish is more than you would expect for a econobox. NO complaints!

Not a single problem here but its only a week old. (But it's a Tiida, built in Japan so may have a different reliability profile)

This makes me wonder if the Tiida has the same suspension. Mine is smooth on smooth pavement but if the road gets rough everything gets jostled. For example, the battery in my garage door opener rattles, anything metal in the glovebox starts to rattle, etc. These are just indicators of the road surface - nothing rattles on the vehicle itself.

12,500 miles on my SL CVT since September and I still love it! Yes, the passenger airbag cover is up in the corner and waiting for replacement, but it's a quick fix and not a big deal. Mileage seems pretty constant at 32mpg in warm weather and 30mpg in cold. But the comfort and quality and the smooth, quiet ride (even at 80mph) more than make up for having hoped for slightly higher numbers.

Hmmm, that is strange. I wonder is the road conditions there in Panama are significantly worse than here in the states. I'm located in North Carolina, which has always been known to have excellent roads, but I'm not so convinced that's the case anymore, considering the road conditions between my house and work!

Overall, my V rides very smoothly. You may want to get yours checked out.

I've had some very small issues, small enough not have to take it into the dealer. I'm really liking the gas mileage (31mpg at 80mph). I'm used to driving a HEMI (18mpg at 70mph). My wife and I were so used to stopping often for gas on our trips, that we actually pulled over a bunch times without fueling up (restroom breaks, stretching). I also like the hatch area with it's cover. That cover came in real handy when smuggling Christmas gifts across the Canadian border . I find the car handles great and stops on a dime. Although my S doesn't have as many creature features as the SL, I'm still more than satisfied with the features I have. The sporty shifting combined with the handling of the car makes for one nice ride.

have had my sl for about 4 months now, 3500 kilometres on it. have no complaints. love the drive, the comfort and spacious feel to it. mileage seems fine to me at about 500-550 kms a tank. this is my first car and find myself enjoying having to wash it, and keeping it tidy.

slid into a ditch a few days ago in the snow and after 20 min from my call there was a tow truck that pulled me out and i was back on the road. i have no winter tires and it was a corner where i say 2 other cars the week before me slide into the ditch and was my own fault for not slowing down enough. but the roadside people were nice and quick about getting all the info and getting the truck out to get me

I've had my Versa SL for about 2 months and it now has 3100 miles on it. I took the advice from my service manager and friend to 'baby' it for the first 1200 miles. After the break in period it drove very well. I love the CVT and my gas mileage has been stable at 31 city and 36 highway. The interior of my car is first class all the way. It doesn't feel like you're driving a sub-compact car but it does feel like you're driving a mid-size top of the line car. The craftsmanship on this thing is great! The fabric on the SL is nice and durable. I don't like the fabric that was used on the S models- too cheap looking and feeling. My only complaint are the OE tires. The Continental tires are pretty cheaps stuff and they perform horrible. I feel every bump, etc. I'm in the process of upgrading my tires and wheels to a more sportier look.

When it comes to electronics, I love the Fosgate sub-woofer. Its not a whole lot of thump BUT its enough for me. The best feature is the bluetooth technology. I have a Sprint Sanyo Katana cell phone and I've had no problems pairing it up to the car's bluetooth. The cool thing about the bluetooth is that you can pair up to 5 phones (correct me if I'm wrong) to your vehicle. I paired my partner's phone to the car and he likes the fact that he doesn't have to put his phone to his ear when he rides with me in the vehicle. I ordered Serius sattelite radio and love it.

All in all, this is a great car and you get more bang for your buck. I just hope they come out with more because I haven't seen any in my city. Cheers!

Thank you for starting this thread! We ordered an SL with Convenience package mainly because the Versa looked unique among the others econos. Am replacing a plain small pickup so it's a step up and will take less space in the garage/shop. Not an option to downsize my wife's Honda Ody.

Was a little nervous about purchasing a new, untried, model. Got more nervous reading many threads about the problems experienced by present owners. The hammer really fell when Ev got rid of his.

Our dealer has been upfront (I think). I liked the salesman we had and I now find out he's gone. The new one seems nice on the phone. (A previous dealer tried to sell us cars that we weren't interested in when he knew we weren't interested--didn't even seem interested in ordering what we did want.) The new guy checked our order and said the car was on the way and should arrive around Feb 1, about when we were promised. So we'll see......

But I have learned alot about the car through this forum, including the suggestion for a pre-sale inspection and what to look for.

Thanks to all!

Got the SL, Conv Package, CVT and love it. Had the TPMS problem and lived with the light until first service and they reset it. Just came back on at 10k miles. I went and checked the pressures to make sure it was not a legit pressure problem and it was just acting up again. I have the patience for Nissan to get this figured out because the Versa is a great car for me.

I have about 460 miles on my SL so far. Nothing has gone wrong with it. Can't speak for gas mileage cause I'm only partly thru my 2nd tank.

Only thing is that I wish I had not paid extra for the upgraded audio package w/XM. The upgraded radio quality really really sucks I think, NOT worth the price. If I had been able to test drive one with it on the lot before ordering, I would have stuck with the base radio, and replaced it with an aftermarket one.

I dunno what the problem is, if it's speaker quality, lack of power from the amp, or both. Sound quality is ok at low volume, but as soon as you get it the slightest bit loud, the treble suffers and the midrange gets WAY too bright. And, I wouldn't even know it had a sub in the trunk - the bass is no more noticable than many other factory radios I've heard without the sub.

I've had my V nearly 4 months [SL CVT]. Nothing has gone wrong. Ilike the quiet Hwy ride and all the room inside. I average 30 mpg mostly city with some Hwy.

I've had my SL CVT for about 3 1/2 months and almost 8k miles. I have had no problems with my Versa and the only time I've had it back at the dealer was for its first Oil + Filter change (although its 7.5k mile service is now due). I received a set of the Aluminum Kick Plates as a Christmas present - so will even have it dressed up just that much more now.

I love the spacious interior, smooth ride, included privacy cargo cover, the direct MP3 connection to the audio unit, the sunroof, and the Bluetooth phone connection (a lot more than I thought I would). I've been getting combined City+Highway mileage of almost 30 mpg, which is about what I was expecting based upon the EPA Estimates - so (while maybe not as much as I'd like) I'm happy.

We like our Versa so far. Just over 1000 miles, no problems. Very comfortable and fun to drive. The only annoyances are small -- I wish it had integrated iPod controls, and I wish the cupholder was placed closer to me.

The iKey rocks and so does the Bluetooth!

2007 SL w/6 MT & Conv package for about 6 months now. Only problem was one trip in for TPMS sensor. Averaging about 33 mpg for the entire time I've had it.

I have had my versa for 6 months. have about 13000 miles on it already and i have not had one problem with it... It has been able to handle everything i have given it. It moves when you tell it to move and the best part is that it was cheap as hell. witch is always a plus!!!
