I just had the Eibach prokit installed on my stock set up.

Im less than impressed with the ride quality and it really feels like I will not have long before they go.

I would like something a bit stiffer and engineered for our cars. Im sure others are interested as well.

Has anyone talked with KYB to see if anything is in the works?

I saw the Tein thread, but that is a pretty pricey set up.

your talking about new dampers? or new spring and damper combo? or new springs?

the thread with the adjustable springs gave you the idea to call KYB right?

btw, I fully support the idea for new dampers as I too feel the stock one are getting over abused with the eibachs

Eibachs are quality... they wont be failing you anytime soon (if ever!)

Theres some AC's with them on that have 30k+ miles on them and havent had any adverse issues.

I trust the Eibach Springs

I don't trust or like the stock struts/shocks.

Mcheddi, I've had KYB's before on my old maxima. Great components...

I want aftermarked shocks and struts that I can couple with the Eibach kit...

Yes?

Let's do this...

Apparently you all like your stock set ups and aren't concerned about durability or strut life?

I'd like better units.

Side note - I gained 1mpg after changing to the Eibachs. This is due to me driving slower due to the ride quality.

I thought that with a progressive rate spring (the eibachs) that the strut life isnt affected for the most part?

Well,

I had a 3rd gen Altima sedan with the Nismo suspension and it handled amazing.

I didn't have to worry about bumps or hard braking etc. It was very firm and stout. I cannot say the same for the Eibach's + stock shocks/struts.

Problem is you are compressing a the strut permenantly 1.5 inches which will cause premature wear unless it was designed shorter and stiffer to compensate..
