It's cool to go to meets with Bimmers, Audi's, Porsche's, etc. but the Nissan representation at these meets sucks! The Infiniti representation is rather nonexsistant. I know with all the Z31's 32's and 33's out there, all the G35's that are selling, all the M35's & 45's that are selling, all the old Q's out there, all the 240's that are around, all the Sentra's, etc. that we can do better than 4 Nissans at a single meet!

Therefore I am on mission to get these Nissan/Infiniti guys that are forgotten or don't get the word about these meets and find the best way to make sure they show up! If the bimmer guys can do it, so can the Nissan guys PERIOD!

Can I get an AMEN?!

I'm looking to set something up for October. Why October? Because that's plenty of notice. I don't have an exact date yet or a location. I want everybody's input. Where do you recommend having a meet? When's the best time you can make it?

Everybody post their individual preference and I'll make the best decision from there. If anybody wants to help me put this together please email me at [email protected]

LETS DO THIS!

During the week in the evening is not possible, except for a lunch meet ... somewhere convenient (like at the Great Mall of Milpitas or something.)

Um.. Amen?

Just make sure to check the calendar of events on norcal240sx.net to make sure it doesn't conflict with track events/other meets.. etc.

I'm down.. just pick

Ideas guys!! Where to have this? What will you be doing? BBQ? Bring grub? Get ball rolling! I would be of more asistance in this but I have schedule conflicts in Oct. and I am not in the bay area.

the tri city cops are d!ck so it wont be fun, anywhere we do this , it shoudl be done with some respect to the law that way we wont get hassled, specially since some of our cars won't be legal due to engine swap and things.

I suggest if you want a big meet, plan it a few weeks in advance.

someone has to know someone who owns a store or something, that we can use the parking lot...maybe even help premote a store or a sale by haveing a semi-car show..haha i wouldnt exactly call it that..but you know what i mean..sh*t.. who knows even at a nissan/infinite dealership...people will stop look and get interested in a car.. and the place can use it to there advantage and we get to hang out with cool dudes and cool cars...but maybe im getting ahead of myself

We already have one of these events in the beginning stages of planning. It will be in april or may. I work for a nissan dealer, we also own the infiniti dealer next door. The problem is most of the you bay area guys dont want to venture out of the bay to sacramento. The dealer isnt the one setting up the event but I asked him if he would be willing to provide the space for the show. He stated he was more then happy to. When I say we I mean the other group I am involved with. Team-Driven. We arent so much an internet forum as a local group of nissan infiniti owners who like to get together and hang out. The forum we do have is not open to the general public and is pretty much used for get together planning. Earlier this year Team-Driven had a get togehter at the Dealer I was then working for in Folsom. It was an awesome turn out. The entire mall circle was filled with nissans and infinitis showing up to see the cars in the show. It was an actual car show with prizes. Not to mention the fact it was a gathering of several site forum groups. This is the first show I have actually been asked if I would like to be part of the planning commitie. Now since we have this thing planned so far ahead do you guys down there think you could drag your butts out of the bay to show up?...lol

why don't we meet up at a park or something so that there's bbq pit and a place to chill. i was thinking about Rancho Seco. it's a park with a lake in galt i beleive. i been there a couple of time and it seems like a good place. it;s easy to get their and if we go on weekdays there's hardly anybody. i think scott should know the place i'm talking about.

Yeah if you dont mind growing a third arm or leg its cool. I mean its only a nuclear power plant!! The lake was built for melt down purposes, should that happen the water is funneled into the core. But since it shut down in the early 80's it is now just a park with a lake. The cyloes are still there. It is actually about 20mins east of galt along hwy 104/twin citeis road.

I was kidding about the extra limb growth. The water is free of radiation...lol

Boon why did you change your user name??

When would you want to do this? I have only been to that park once. There is a catch, there is a fee for parking. So I am thinking the power plant is out of the question.
