first off, I have tried to search here and other places but cannot seem to figure this out on my own, so maybe someone can give me a hand... I really don't get all the numbers and everything when I try to figure it out myself...

I have a 1991 180sx with Z32 brakes.

The rims I have are:front: 18x8.5 +15 5x114.3 rubber: 225/40/18rear: 18x9.5 +15 5x114.3 rubber: 265/35/18

What mods will I need to have these fit?I am having new OEM style suspension put in this week - it was previously lowerd a lot - it looks like the fronts will fit once the spacers on there are removed, but it is the back that are going to be tight... will rolling the fenders help this?

I would appreciate any thoughtsI am not good at all with this type of thing, and was told these would fit, but it was not looking good... just wondering if it is possible for them to fit period or if I was f'd over...

Roll and a pull. You might have to move down to 245's in the rear too.

thanks for the response!

thats what I figured at the minimum. at least there is some hope... kind of annoyed its gotta be done in the first place clearly sometimes better to trust ones instincts than a shop

your raising your car to oem suspension?

why?

if thats the case, then they'll fit fine cuz the wheels will be no where near the fenders.

well it wasnt my choice to go back to OEM, and it is very temperary... but Alberta is being a $#@$# $#@#er about passing these cars for registration. they refuse to call it 'safe' with the coilovers I have on it right now. my only choice is to put OEM suspension... for now. I will likely go lower again after it is passed inspection - although lately the $#@er incharge has been revoking inspections on imports out of the blue, years after they were already passed...

Basically, I would like to go quite low again... wondering if even rolling the fenders will do it or not.... so as not to have to go raise hell at the shop that insisted the wheels would fit fine in the first place -- but it may have to just come to that, it seems.... really dont want to roll the fenders....

well yeah... with the sizes you provided, rolling is a must. But it all depends on camber as well... with less camber, you may or may not have to do a slight pull on the rears.

edit: assuming you go with S14toRPS13's 245 recommendation

well less camber you would deff have to do more of a pull than with more camber. doh.
